Young People Voice their Opinions

Youth Conference ’25

More than 80 young people participated in this year’s Limerick Comhairle na nÓg Youth Conference held at Istabraq Hall, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick City recently.

The Youth Conference gave young people an opportunity to voice their opinion on issues of importance to them while learning more about the impact of the Youth Council.

Throughout the day, delegates heard from Comhairlí about the role of Comhairle na nÓg and hwo the Youth Council has influenced policy in areas such as discounted public transport for young people and the Not Around Us Smoke-Free campaign.
