Advocacy Office

All learners at the Community Training Centre are supported by an Advocate who works with the learner to develop individual career path plans, with the goal of securing employment and/or progression to further education/training.

Either in small groups or individually, the Advocacy Officer works with young people on exploring careers options, preparing their CVs or honing their interview skills.

With work experience a key feature of our courses, the Advocacy Officer prepares learners for placement while liaising with host organisations throughout the process, including post placement support and feedback.
