Youth Club Summer Camps

Limerick Youth Service will host a series of Youth Club Summer Camps across the Treaty County this July for young people (10-13yrs).

The Youth Club Summer Camps will include a host of activities including tie-dye workshops, arts, games and music with Music Generation.

The details of the Youth Club Summer Camps are:

• Ballybrown:
  • Ballybrown Clarina Community Centre, Clarina, Limerick v94 F5EY
  • July 11-12^th
  • 9:30am-1pm

• Hospital:
  • Hospital Family Resource Centre, Knockainey Road, Limerick V35 RP26
  • July 18-20^th (this is in partnership with Hospital FRC and is for 3 days)
  • 10am-2:30pm

• Doon
  • Doon Community Centre, Kilmoylan, Doon, Limerick V94 W1R8
  • July 25-26^th
  • 9:30am-1pm

• Kilcornan
  • Kilcornan NS, Kilcornan, Limerick V94 XF95
  • July 27-28^th
  • 9:30am-1pm

‘The summer camps are a great opportunity for young people to meet new people, have fun and experience LYS youth club,’ said Edel Quinn, LYS.

‘Who knows, they may like it that much that they’ll join our youth clubs when they re-open in September,’ said Edel, Youth Club Development Worker.

LYS supports a network of volunteer led youth club across Limerick that provide young people (10yrs+) with a space to chill out, enjoy themselves and take part on events such as the variety shows, discos, interclub visits and more.
