The QQI Level 4 Retail Skills Course will equip participants with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to work effectively in Ireland’s vibrant retail sector.
Learners will study a variety of subjects such as customer service, retail sales techniques, computer applications, stock control and take part in periods of work placement with some of Ireland’s leading retail employers.
Learners will also have the opportunity to take part in extra-curricular activities that will enhance their social and personal development.
On graduating from the course, learners will have the knowledge, capability and experience to progress to employment and further education and training.

The Retails Skills Course is open to young people (16-20yrs) with participants entitled to a training allowance.
The Retail Skills Course is part of the further education and training curriculum delivered at LYS’ Community Training Centre, Lr. Glentworth St, Limerick.
LYS’ Community Training Centre is supported by the Limerick & Clare Education & Training Board and the European Social Fund.
