Leading the way at Pride 2017

Young members of the LGBT+ Community who would like express themselves, meet new people, take part in fun activities and if needed, access support and information, are invited to join LGBT+ Youth Limerick.

The group, which is a partnership between Limerick Youth Service and GOSHH, meet every Friday at LYS’s Lava Javas Youth Café, 5 Lr. Glentworth St, Limerick from 5-8pm.

LGBT+ Youth Limerick has been to the fore in promoting equality and creating awareness and understanding of LGBT+ related issues.

As part of Pride 2017, the young people hosted Limerick’s only Pride Youth Party and took part in the parade where they led their Drag-On through the streets of the Treaty City!

GOSHH-Gender Orientation Sexual Health & HIV focus on the promotion of equality and wellbeing of all with a positive and respectful approach to sexual orientation and gender diversity.

A member of Youth Work Ireland, Limerick Youth Service remains committed to supporting and encouraging young people to be active participants in shaping their futures.
