In response to the new system of calculated grades, Limerick Youth Service (LYS) will be offering online support to students receiving their Leaving Cert and Leaving Cert Applied results this September via a Youth Information Chat Service.
The Youth Information Chat Service will be live from 12-9pm this Monday and Tuesday, September 7th & 8th respectively, while it will also be open on Friday, September 11th from 12-9pm when the CAO first round offers are released.
The chat service connects students with a professional Youth Information Officer who will give the young person a space to discuss their situation and talk through their options during these unprecedented times.
The Youth Information Chat Service is similar to WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger and can be accessed at www.limerickyouthservice.com/got-a-question.
Launched earlier this year following a successful pilot campaign, the Youth Information Chat Service is available on weekdays from 4-8pm while you can also leave a message outside of those hours and receive a reply by email.
The Youth Information Chat Service operated by LYS’ Youth Information Office in partnership with Youth Work Ireland, YMCA Ireland, Crosscare and SpunOut.ie.
