
Graduates from the ESOL: English for Speakers of Other Languages Class
The Celebration of Learning acknowledged the dedication, commitment and accomplishments of learners who successfully completed their respective courses at the LYS Community Training Centre.
The Celebration of Learning marked an important milestone for the learners, many of whom have progressed to further education, training, apprenticeships and employment.

Among the young people who were honoured at the Northside Youth Space, were Jae Barron, who received the Feargal Quinn Award for her Leaving Certificate Applied results and Alesha Jones, who the prestigious Renshaw Cup in the UK.
The learners were presented with by Kathryn Clancy, Manager, LYS Community Training Centre and Evelyn O’Keeffe, Limerick & Clare Education & Training Board.

Speaking to the learners, Kathrn Clancy, congratulated the learners on their success and commitment to their courses.
‘During your with the Community Training Centre, you have grown personally and this evening is a great opportunity to celebrate this with your families and friends,’ said Kathryn.
‘You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved and on behalf of LYS, I would like to thank you for trusting us and all at LYS wish you the very best in your future careers,’ added Kathryn.
The LYS Community Training Centre provides further education and training opportunities for young people who are not in education, employment or training.
The LYS Community Training Centre is supported by the Limerick & Clare Education & Training and co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union.
The Northside Youth Space is one of LYS dedicated youth spaces and centres that are located across Limerick City and County.
A member of Youth Work Ireland and the Irish Association of Community Training Organisations, LYS remains committed to connecting with young people and supporting them to reach their full potential.
