Commencing the week starting Monday, June 29th, the following LYS’ youth spaces will be available for a number of activities and programmes.

Young people, staff and visitors must follow public health guidelines and LYS protocols which include:

  • Adhere to social distancing
  • Maintain good hygiene etiquette
  • Group numbers must be less than fifteen
  • Register with reception at the respective youth space

Although our youth spaces will be reopening. it will not be feasible for all projects/groups to return to face to face activities.  As a result, LYS will continue to engage with young people through online and more traditional platforms such as phone and email.

In relation to our youth work groups/clubs, there will have a limited number of outdoor activities and summer programmes with youth workers contacting young people and parents from their respective groups in due course.

Our detached youth work projects, which are located in Ballycummin-Raheen, Limerick City Centre & Garryowen, will be out and about on various evenings with staff adhering to social distancing.
