World No Tobacco Day Information Morning

Limerick Youth Service (LYS) will mark the United Nations World No Smoking Day, with an information coffee morning at the Northside Youth Space, Ballynanty, Limerick on Friday, May 29th from 10:30am-12pm.

‘whether you are a youth worker, teacher, parent, grandparent, Garda, social worker or someone who smokes and would simply like to learn more, you are very welcome to come along and join the conversation’

Hosted by the LYS Drug Education & Prevention Support Project, the morning is open to anyone interested in learning more about the effects of smoking, vaping and healthier alternatives.

‘Through this event, we hope to support young people in making healthier choices, while helping the important adults in their lives feel more confident having these conversations,’ said Niamh Taylor, LYS.
