Youth organisations and those interested in volunteering across Europe are invited to an information workshop on the European Solidarity Corps at the Northside Youth Space, Ballynanty, Limerick on Thursday, September 14th at from 11am-1pm.
The European Solidarity Corps gives young adults (18-30yrs) the opportunity to volunteer with youth, community, educational and sporting groups in Ireland or across Europe.
Delivered by Léargas, the information session is suitable for youth and community organisations, schools and sports groups who would like to know more about the European Solidary Corps programme.

The workshop will explain the European Solidarity Corps, its benefits to young people and organisations, while emphasising the features of the programme such as finding a host organisation and the application process.
The European Solidarity Corps is also a great tool to promote solidarity, challenge prejudice and learn about new cultural and social beliefs.
Participants can volunteer for period of between 2 weeks and 10 months and are entitled to a weekly allowance.
